Why do we need stabilizers?
Unstable voltage will cause equipment inevitablly damage or malfunction, meanwhile, it will accelerate equipment aging, affect service life or even burn accessories, worse still, unstable voltage will lead to accident and cause immeasurable damage. So using stabilizers is essential for the electrical equipment especially for the high and new technology and precision equipment with strict voltage requirements.
For the safety of you and the appliance, be sure to consider buying a voltage stabilizer! For you to solve many problems such as computer shutdown and restart, air conditioning refrigeration and heating instability, refrigerator refrigeration equipment unable to cool, TV screen flickering, lights flickering, network connection unstable and many other problems!
How to choose stabilizers?
1.Choose the suitable one according to the electrical appliances.
2.Do not only take the rated power consumption into consideration!
3.Due to various appliances operating, the current is much higher than rated current.
3.The power of stabilizer should be 3 to 5 times higher than applied electrical equipment!
4.Because the voltage regulator in the actual work needs to overcome the surge shock and the inductive load of the starting shock(e.g. refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine).
5.When the stabilizer is used in the inductive load, because the inductive load has a large instantaneous starting current, generally about 3-5 times of the rated current, often more than 9 times of the operating current (e.g. refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine), pay attention to the voltage value of the mains supply whether exceeds the input voltage range of the stabilizer.
6.Before you buy it, buyers should consider whether add equipment in the future which decides whether the stabilizer needs expand capacity. Whether it is a single machine or the whole factory, choose and buy stabilizers must reserve adequate capacity, to avoid 100% load regulators, stabilizers load rate is generally 80%.
1. You should know the voltage range of the stabilizer. How?
During peak times, use a multimeter to measure the mains voltage. Keep watching for several minutes to measure the lowest or highest voltage.
2. How much power of stabilizers do you need?
Calculate the maximum power of the electrical equipment you need to stabilize the voltage
2.The actual available power of the normal voltage regulator is 80% of the standard value, such as actual power of 1500W stabilizer is 1500W*80%=1200W.
3.Then they are divided into inductive load and resistive load. If you are not sure, consider it as inductive load.
4.According to the equation above(inductive load maximum power*3 and resistive load maximum power *1.5), figure out what you need to buy. For example, apply to a 1.5P air conditioner, the maximum power is 1200w, 1200*3=3600w, due to no 4000w in the market, you should pick up 5000W stabilizer.
